alright done. hmm i want to recount today. i was almost on time for trg but BEING ON TIME FOR TRG means 15min earlier than meeting time. so darn i was 15min late though i reached mrr at 8. we did mosquito ring. actually during warmup, i felt a hint of looseness in my shoes but i didnt re-tie cos .aiyo its REALLY tedious. dont believe come when i'm having a particular trg when i'm wearing those particular shoes and see e way i lace them...terrible. so anyhows i just ran. to cut long story short; i kena right ankle (at first) and then fell forward on my left leg(somehow) and like BOM down on my palms. zzzz. my left leg has scratches all over now and a few insect bite like thingjomanis. (thanks yuming for helping me put the yellow liquid thing!)

i got up, asked e rest to go ahead cos i didnt want to disrupt their trg while alisa commanded me ," jog back." but i didnt want to cos i went all e way to the opening of golf courseeeeeeeee. but i guai so i walked back. then i didnt wnat to be guai and turned back to jog twds where the rest were going(mos ring). then i thought to myself aiya first trg only slack a bit lah. and turned my back. just then i saw peishan and gang coming so i asked ," peishan i just sprain ankle. shld i cont running (complete e route) or turn back? " ' if you're okay just cont lah ' and YES I AM OKAY. GREAT, I'M GONNA CONT RUNNING . and since i sprain ankle, i wnated to gain a bit of ground first so i jogged. and hit new grounds ; but i go so slow then nobody behind. whoa siao i'm gonna be all alone in the route and if i die nobody wld know. so i turned and decided to run back. then i saw mgx and mr q .then yea lah he asked me to turn and complete e route; with the mgx girls. hahahahaha. coming back from mos.ring, i kena my LEFT ankle; twice but e 2nd time not as bad since i was going slower. what a way to return back to trg.
then the who. audrey. 'i didnt see you when i turned back. did you hide in the bushes or smth?'

went ben&jerry's with aud and clar. andthen laze ard aud's place. then go church .and i actually got affirmation from Daddy.wow it was really cool. this verse came to mind when my grp and i were in the 'reflections' prayer room. i miss my church grp :) grp 8 hahaha. lionheart ah.

okay whether i hav been putting in effort for God, whether he is happy or not with my work for him, i just feel very encouraged by that verse. cos like i've been scolding myself a lot lately. why you screw up your life. why you nvr talk to her abt christ. why you nvr read e bible today. why you nvr put more effort to help for Engage etc. and then i read this verse.it's telling me like hey you know, you're doing fine. the sincerity to work for him is there. continue going on.

mrq say to tape my ankle up from now on :( to prevent further twists and turns. WHY DID I HAVE TO SPRAIN MY ANKLE LAST YR?!??!?!?!? first time some more luh. hmmm i think it was 2 weeks before x natls. i thought that was e end of dispair. but noooo it's the beginning for one sprain will lead to many more others. why? but nvm lah. part and parcel of running. also, running all e way during runs can get quite monotonous lah. a bit of colour here and there will be entertained. you'll see a stronger person standing up and fighting on; stronger.

i'd always rmb during that trg. my teammates were cheering for rachael. i turned back to face capt to cheer for her too. i squinted my eyes, why does her leg look distorted? i turned to my friends and inquired. as she came to clear view, i realised that she was bleeding. and it wasn't just just bleeding. she was bleeding frm knee down. from knee down, her leg was painted w blood. it was suddenly quiet.pple were murmuring. i couldnt help but just stare at rachael, at my captain running to the finish line. the rest of my vision was blurred and focussed only on captainrach. that's the marks of a true crosscountry runner i tell you. even though she may not have continued crosscountry in acjc, shes e example crossers will want to follow (aiyo go rj.promote to crossERS not crossIES). or at least i wld want to. she may not have came in the first, but she definitely deserved and obviously had more glory than the first runner who came back. she ran back alone man. alone with a bleeding leg. no signs of giving up.

okay i need to stop fantasizing that glorious moment. rachael came back with such splendor man...

that was during teachers day 06. omg my last teachers day celebration and the best! hahahahahha sadly 'the two new guy teachers' only joined mg in 06'. one of them is the teacher ic for mgx though! hahahaha so i get to see him during sat trgs at times. hes a cool teacher.history teacher lah. i'd want a history tcher like him . but OH WELL. i'm not complaining; my history teacher (and ss teacher) made me sleep every ss/hist lesson but i still got A2. maybe e trick is to have enough rest =p (go accumulate at least 2times a week of 1/2 lessons for 2yrs) and then after prelims, spend your remaining days in church studying. and on e day of hist paper , get your church friend to bring along his super smart friend and get sueprsmartfriend to teach you. yay
