1) i need to change my email address. by jc.
(i cant imagine a matured 17yrold(yucks i'm gonna be oldddd) tiffany writing the tiffy_bu..................email all over sch during orientation or registration of stuff etc.) --> that's not a thinking of an immatured girl right?
2) i've finally found the reason why i always check my watch during long runs!(unknowingly and knowingly...) i need to keep track of time, simple as that.
in the forest, all you see are trees and more trees; you lose your sense of humanity, your sense of composure. the only thing available for you in the forest to let you keep in touch with the modern world will be your watch. you need to be in contact with something...anything related to this high technology century, and the most accessible(and high tech) thing, at the speed you are going ,would be your watch. a simple action of lifting your arm 90degrees to 90 degrees will do the job just nicely. according to physics, it's not even work done at all. so yes.
3) chinese o's tmr. i'm inspired by my internet friend tricia to attempt reading up some notes. i just hope i pass. i'm still suffering the side effects of post mid yrs so heck. ALL THE BEST FOR CHINESE O'S GUYS!!!! (as if anybody wld read it. haha)
that's all the agenda in my mind now. i'm anticipating smth. smth like sg idol. so i'm pretty occupied. hahaha. and what's this ac idol i saw the acjc girls advertising during sch on thurs. they nvr approach us at all

my ankle kena again on sat. whoa my body quite zhun(accurate) one; i fell just in time for me to turn to girls slope instead of taking the boys route. during my first two yrs of running, and also due to jing's philosophy of falling down (fall down, get cut on leg, leg can get more oxygen), i was convinced that i want to fall down when i run so i can be more inspired to finish the route. my ankle gave way after tripping over stone and i slided down the slope for abt 10-20m on my right leg. luckily its gradient is nowhere near to infinity man...
then the really cool part happened. alisa, who was closely behind, did not manage to dodge in time .she kind of tripped (i also dont know over what. i just saw her lose balance)and leaped over me. she leaped over me. that was da bomb man! since i was on the floor, i could see how a hurdle is done from the bottom view. it was #*(!@ cool. perfect view
obviously, i felt how an ordinary runner wld feel when he sprains his ankle.
today's trg wasn't as good as last week's. my standard keeps wavering. runqian&renuka's are like...constant : ok constantly improving. acceleration wld be constant.
the rjc people are really friendly but sometimes it's still kinda lonely. the rj's warm up pace is like...idontknow. they can even lap me kinda thing. so either i do warmup alone or with a few other pple. then RI wld come. they would come as a team. they would start warm up together, do drills together, finish together, slack during stretching together....everything together... aarrghh! it's infuriating.
why does the ri xcountry team remind me of mgx SO MUCH?!?!
i'm supposed to not like ri.

When You Say Nothing At All
It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word, you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me whenever I fall
You say it best... when you say nothing at all
All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Try as they may they can never define
What's been said between your heart and mine
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me whenever I fall
You say it best.. when you say nothing at all
The smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Let's me know that you need me...
the tune of this songis nice. it can make you sleep nicely ;) hahaha. and tablepartnermelpok likes to sing this song during class so you can imagine e scene... anyway the lyrics are quite nice too . there's a special way in which all these type of lovey dovey songs can work its way through me. grah. trg today was....good. man, i can do 12 400ms in 2 hrs! hahahaha. it's a accomplishment =D (not that i've ever tried to break my previous no. of sets)

TOP TEN SIGNS THAT YOU ARE AN UNQUESTIONING CHRISTIAN (11-23-03)(stolen from the internet--author unknown)
10- You vigorously deny the existence of thousandsof gods claimed by other religions, but feeloutraged when someone denies the existence of your god.
9- You feel insulted and 'dehumanized' whenscientists say that people evolved from lesser lifeforms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claimthat we were created from dirt.
8- You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problembelieving in a Trinity god.
7- Your face turns purple when you hear of the'atrocities' attributed to Allah, but you don't evenflinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughteredall the babies of Egypt in 'Exodus' and ordered theelimination of entire ethnic groups in 'Joshua' --including women, children, and animals!
6- You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, andGreek claims about god sleeping with women, but youhave no problem believing that the Holy Spiritimpregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god whogot killed, came back to life and then ascended intothe sky.
5- You are willing to spend your life looking forlittle loop-holes in the scientifically establishedage of the Earth (4.55 billion years), but you findnothing wrong with believing dates recorded bypre-historic tribesmen sitting in their tents andguessing that the Earth is a couple of generationsold.!
4- You believe that the entire population of thisplanet wi th the exception of those who share yourbeliefs -- though excluding those in all rivalsects -- will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell ofSuffering. And yet you consider your religion themost 'tolerant' and 'loving'.
3- While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor, speaking in'tongues,' may be all the evidence you need.
2- You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when itcomes to answered prayers. You consider that to beevidence that prayer works. And you think that theremaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.
1- You actually know a lot less than many Atheists and Agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, andchurch history -- but still call yourself a"Christian."
got that from some atheist website in the "humour" section. hmmm.. if you've read all the way here, dont you hate to but have to agree with the No.1 sign? it's really quite disheartening and the worst thing is that we're not doing much about it.
that aside, haha liverpool won facup! i was SHOCKED when i saw them up against westham. oh yay yay yay.

Smith is recovering from the broken leg and dislocated ankle he suffered during the FA Cup defeat at Liverpool in February.
The injury has certainly not dampened Smith's spirits. The Yorkshireman remains his usual chirpy self, even though he will be working throughout the summer having had any thoughts of being in England's World Cup party banished on that grim day at Anfield when he launched himself forward in an attempt to stop a John Arne Riise free-kick. 'He has an amazing philosophy and approach to his recovery,' said Ferguson. 'It doesn't bother him at all. There is no mental block. He will be back all right.'
wow

i talked to the most arrogant (ex-)ri boy i've met in my life ytd. (besides the fact that he's the first...hmm maybe it's a common trait ..)
at least i managed to get back at him! =D heh. heck if he ever finds his way here. when he went to the toilet, i dared my sister to switch off the lights and she DID! hahaah! i ran out of the room before he could do anything.
...ok i sound so childish now ahhah
12k ytd was really tiring. my watch died on me while i was at my 9th km. i gasped and choked at the sudden intake of too much (i cant be bothered to think of the correct adj now) air. i felt like crying :( i think my watch doesn't like me anymore. my watch woke up only after the run. so i have a time-less run of which i think i did a pb! grah. track tmr. hurr

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower,
Hear the music -
Before the song is over.
hmmm, i visualise a peaceful life as one to that of a nice, slow sounding song. but my life will never be like that. i had the chance but i was ignorant then. now, this choice of road i take is nth to that of a melody; and there's no turning back. my life can never slow down as much as i want it to.
anyways, oh maan, i think in my 4 yrs of running life, i've nvr felt an adrenaline so strong it just makes you crave for more. mr q asked rq alisa and i to run our very last 400m with kienmau&mok. though i was nowhere near most of them, wow! the feeling was super good. running like shit for your dear life. the guys ran super off timings cos i did 1sec off their target time. ha. at least i (almost) hit the target time! yay. hahaha. but but...oh man. the feeling when i was running is sooo difficult to comprehend! it's really addictive man. i wanna run like that again. i hope we get to do this crazy freak ass last interval again next monday. that 400m was the craziest i've ever ran in my life. 800m &1500m the last time with jing was almost all out too but my arms&legs were aching crazy after. the feeling of losing total control of your body was very scary. i was leaning over a horizontal pole after the race and thought i was going to faint anytime and die. haha besides the thoughts of dying, i felt very high; light headed. ok i'm going crazy. it's time for bed! =D
