this week has been eventful. (i'm getting results back tmr_

monday. hari raya holiday, so nicole and aunt angie* organised this little get together for a few of us and thadd's family.
*when e xers and thadd's family saw each other a lot more during that period of time, the family was known as thadd's daddy, thadd's mummy and thomas. but nicole said, after 4mths, she's now known as aunt angie. the way nicole said it was so cute :P*
we all met at school then aunt angie (aunt a) picked us up. during the course of the journey, nic was saying that she felt like shes in a sch bus.so funny. the car's a six seater,with some room for pple to sit on the floor. i was sitting right at the back and rmbed a scene when thad was still ard. clarissa tan and thomas**** were occupying one seat each at the back. thad was sitting in the middle of them.and as usual, two of them were quarrelling (abt some really redundant stuff) then after a while, it got so noisy thad covered his ears and bent down. hahahaa it was really funny.
so anyway (i feel the most boring posts are recounts but TOO BAD) when aunt a showed us this furniture that thad wanted to buy. (they bought it) a lot of thad's stuff were put there. then there was this random green turtle on one of the candles.presumably found in thad's locker. aunt a said when mr t opened the locker, there was only that one turtle there. hahahaha. then we went to see pics. thomas is rreallllllly cute. i was talking abt how goodlooking he'll be when he grows up ,since he alr is. i saw him looking at me when i looked at him,' i'll pretend i didnt hear that' aahhh so cute :P the pics were really cool. tasmania. i wanna go there one day =p ***so anw then thomas showed us A LOT of magics tricks. i'm very impressed. then we went to visit thaddeus. its a very peaceful place down there.i'm referring to the room btw. then we had lunch at pepper express (i think that's its name) then...i went to east coast to cycle w churchpple.

***OHYES. aunt a also showed us two videos made for thad. OHMYGOODNESSGRACIOUSMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. i've totally seen thaddeus before! i recognised one of the photos. it was taken during one of the AIMS competition. thad is from serangoon gardens, one of the 4 participating clubs. eeeeeeeeeeeeeee i was super distracted when i saw that pic that i couldnt conc on the next few. i dont know how to describe how i felt. can you imagine, you visit a friend's place after he has passed away, watch a video and recognise a photo. take note, i did not notice that picture from some random photo i saw in a magazine or whatever, i recognised that 'picture'. i recognised seeing that 'scene', the 12 big guys squeezing on the podium(some give up trying to get up and stand on the floor) receiving their team relay prizes. it was... whoa =/ i dont know what to say !

tuesday, ran out of school halfway, skipped lecture TO CHECK MY EMAIL. that's indespicable! =p heck. (i'm a good girl, skipping lessons is a big NO NO to me)

sat, mws flag day. as always, flag days are very memorable experiences :) maybe cos you meet a lot of pple in a period of time. people are very interesting creatures.

sunday, ran great eastern run this morn 10k. i was running with mummy. oh my it's a really cool race. before the event, the top runners , from kenya!!!!!!! and dont know where else, were introduced to the whole crowd and asked to step up on some stage thing. it was really cool. cos you see the runners, step up, smile a little, wave a little then go back down. it's like, they deserve such attention but they're humble people. plus they're nervous abt the race.or at least i think they are.i always am before races. it's really cool how I FELT i could connect w them, though i'm nowhere as fast. 33min!!! crazy. then i saw a lot of pple and clarisse. clarisse got 2nd for under19 man!'fun run' =.= eeee shes so pro :D so anw, the kenyans were so pro. when i was at the 2k mark, they were alr coming back (6k). (the route is a u-turn kinda thing) it was so ...........awesome seeing them fly. ah, glorious sight. the first two pple were a kenyan and australian ( ithink). then the 3rd kenyan. it's really hard for the 3rd runner i think, you're like top but not and are running alone.sucks.

after the run, mummmy and i went ard getting drinks, bananas, cereals, tshirts, icecream (no more :( ), pink flowers, pink balloons. such a pretty sight. all girls ard. mummy's really so aunty i tell you. it was really funny though.seeing her aunty instincts. then after satisfying her aunty instincts, we rushed to the front to watch prize presentation. oh my, the champ looked so happy. smiling, waving her hands ard. and top 3 gets a plaque from tiff&co. 0.o glitters. hahaha ;p the winners were really...glamarous. it's like, wow, they can do ANYTHING they want. scream, jump on the podium...anything! you're the winner you can DO ANYTHING YOU WANT. you're given all credibility. (obviously w/o being so arrogant. but xers are not arrogant... ... just like liverpoolies)

i was so in awe. then, my realistic inspiration came.2nd placing. my classmate clarisse yong. ohyea before e run i mentioned to mummy that she's janell's role model. mummy's response, "wow". and i was thinking, ohyea man..wow. can you imagine having a sec2 girl looking up to you as a role model? it's not a 'for fun' thing here. when janell talks abt her, wow. even if i dont know her, i'd be quite impressed with this senior that my sister talks abt occasionally.

so combining the effects of a suspended runner watching top runners step up the platform to humbly greet the crowd, to running pass her, to collecting their prizes with a big satisfied grin...suspended runner is even more so fired. i've decided, i'll go back to competitive running starting nov.
